First French foray for HanETF

Yann Hericotte has been named head of ETF sales for France, which is a newly created role at HanETF.

He will be responsible for growing the white label Ucits ETF issuer’s platform and driving sales across the French regions.

Hericotte brings with him eight years’ experience in ETF sales and banking, having most recently led the ETF equity sales trading at Avalon Capital Markets.

Although France is a competitive market, HanETF said it has received “significant interest” coming from local investors interested in its “differentiated” ETFs and ETPs.

The firm added that it is “in discussions with a significant number of French asset managers interested in using [its] white label services”.

Simon Dale, head of sales for HanETF, commented: “Yann’s appointment is an important step towards expanding our ETF business across Europe. With his deep knowledge of the French market and understanding of investor needs, Yann will play a key role in growing our platform in the region. French market coverage was conspicuous by its absence and Yann’s appointment will address that.

“We expect the French market to as impactful to our growth as the rest of the major markets in Europe have been to date.”
