Unigestion opens Copenhagen office

Kopenhagen, Nyhavn

Swiss asset manager Unigestion has opened an office in Copenhagen as it seeks to build business ties in the Nordics.

The Geneva-headquartered group said the office will allow Unigestion to increase its investor base in the region.

The Copenhagen based distribution function will serve institutional investors and intermediaries in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and the Netherlands.

Per Lawӕtz Hansen will lead the new Copenhagen office, having joined Unigestion’s business development team as head of Nordics in December 2018. Prior to joining Unigestion, he spent more than 20 years working at Nordea.

Fiona Frick, chief executive officer, said: “Opening the Copenhagen office underlines our commitment to our growth strategy and investors across the Nordics. Per brings strong relationships and extensive knowledge that will help us to strengthen existing relationships and build a larger network in the region.”
