US exchange traded fund provider WisdomTree has appointed Alexis Marinof (pictured) as head of WisdomTree Europe.
Marinof has worked in asset management for 20 years and joined WisdomTree in 2017 as head of European distribution. He was also EMEA head at State Street.
He is now responsible for expanding WisdomTree’s operations in Europe. The group established its European arm in 2014. “The growth potential for exchange traded products in Europe remains vast,” Mironof said.
Outgoing European head David Abner is forming an independent consulting firm focused on the convergence between traditional and digital financial assets.
