CPR Asset Management names CEO

He will also join Amundi’s executive committee

With effect from 6 September 2021, Olivier Mariée will become chief executive of Amundi subsidiary CPR Asset Management.

He succeeds Valerie Baudson, who was confirmed as the replacement for Amundi’s outgoing chief executive, Yves Perrier, in February.

Senior experience

Mariée joins from Direct Assurance, an Axa Group company, where has has been chief executive since 2020.

Prior to that, he was sales sirector of Axa France from 2017, with responsiblility for defining and implementing the distribution strategy, marketing strategy and sales promotion.

He was also responsible for the sales teams of the life business lines (savings, pensions, provident, health) and of the distribution networks.

From 2012-2017, Mariée was chief executive of Axa Wealth Management and head of life & savings business lines at Axa France during which he was actively involved in the creation and development of Axa Wealth Europe in Luxembourg.
