PGIM hires senior economist for Central Europe and Middle East

Magdalena Polan has joined PGIM Fixed Income in the newly created role of principal economist.

Based in London, she will cover the major emerging market economies in Central Europe and the Middle East.

Polan was global EM economist at LGIM, a role she has held since 2016.

Prior to that she was a senior economist, CEEMEA at Goldman Sachs, having previously worked at the International Monetary Fund as an economist in the strategy and policy review, monetary and capital markets and European departments.

She will report to Nathan Sheets, who leads PGIM Fixed Income’s global macroeconomic research team.
